Least-privilege access
Signals requests only the Shopify scopes it needs to match customers and read the order context a survey depends on.
Reliable delivery
Outbound events are retried with backoff and delivered idempotently, so a transient failure does not lose a response.
Identity you can trust
A response is attached to a customer only when it can be matched. Anonymous responses stay anonymous.
Merchant-owned data
You own your customer responses. Retention is configurable, deletion is supported, and we never sell merchant customer data.

Which integrations does Signals support?
Signals integrates with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Compass. Shopify is the foundation; Klaviyo and Compass are optional amplifiers you can connect when they are useful to you.
Do I need Klaviyo to use Signals?
No. Signals is a complete Shopify survey product on its own. Klaviyo lets you activate declared preferences in the email tool you already use, but it is not required.
Do I need a Compass subscription?
No. Signals is fully valuable without Compass. Compass enhances Signals with a unified customer profile and cross-product intelligence — it never gates the core product.
Does Signals replace Klaviyo?
No. Signals complements Klaviyo. Klaviyo remains your messaging platform; Signals supplies the customer-declared data that makes those messages more relevant.
