Start asking your customers better questions.
The public Shopify App Store listing is coming soon. Until then, we are onboarding merchants directly through early access — with hands-on setup and a founding rate confirmed before launch.
The App Store listing is not live yet.
We would rather say that plainly than send you to a page that does not exist. Signals is built for Shopify and installs as a Shopify app — the public listing is in progress. In the meantime, early access merchants are installed directly by our team, which also means you get help setting up your first survey instead of a blank dashboard.
What actually happens on day one.
No long implementation, no data warehouse project, no developer required.
Your Shopify data is read, not rewritten
Signals reads customers, orders, and products so every response arrives with real commerce context. It does not modify your catalog or your orders.
Templates are ready immediately
Product finder, post-purchase, attribution, NPS, replenishment, and preference templates are available from the first minute — each with its objective and recommended questions.
Your first Spark takes a minute
A Spark is a single question. Pick one, choose where it appears, publish. You can be collecting declared preferences before you finish your coffee.
Klaviyo connects when you are ready
Connecting Klaviyo is optional and separate. Once connected, Signals sends survey events and syncs profile properties so answers can drive segments and flows.
From install to first response.
The same five steps every response follows — starting with your very first one.
-
1. Connect
Signals connects to your Shopify store and reads your customers, orders, and products.
-
2. Describe
Tell the AI survey builder what you want to learn in a sentence.
-
3. Review
Edit the generated questions, logic, and customer properties.
-
4. Publish
Send the survey by link, on your storefront, or after purchase.
-
5. Activate
Sync answers to Klaviyo or Compass and act on what you learn.
Realistic timing
- Install and connect Shopify — about 2 minutes.
- Generate or choose your first survey — about 5 minutes.
- Review questions and publish — about 5 minutes.
- Connect Klaviyo, if you use it — about 5 minutes.
What Signals asks for, and why.
Signals requests least-privilege Shopify permissions. Every scope below exists because a specific feature needs it.
-
Customers
To connect each response to the real customer who gave it, and to build a Signal profile over time.
-
Orders
To combine what a customer said with what they actually bought, and to trigger post-purchase surveys.
-
Products
To reference real products in questions, recommendations, and product finder logic.
-
Storefront script / app embed
To display surveys and Sparks on your storefront, only where you choose to place them.
-
Shop information
To configure your account, currency, and store settings correctly.
Merchants own their customer responses. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, retention is configurable, and responses can be exported or deleted on request. Read security and privacy
